Understanding How Your Shape Fits Ours
You don’t want to miss this 2-session class! DISCOVERY is designed to help you better understand who we are as a church body, how God uniquely designed you, and how you can engage in our church family.
In DISCOVERY Session One, you’ll learn more about us at CBF. We’ll cover topics such as what we believe, what makes us unique, how we function as a church body, our perspective on discipleship, and how God is leading us as a church body. We’ll also introduce the S.H.A.P.E. profile and begin to learn more about you. The S.H.A.P.E. profile is personalized to you and includes looking at your spiritual gifts, your passions, your natural abilities, your unique personality, and your life experiences.
Once you’ve completed DISCOVERY Session One, we’ll give you information and tools to help you prepare for your next step in this process, DISCOVERY Session Two. In Session Two, we’ll continue to get to know each other as we look more closely at how God lovingly and uniquely designed you, what He desires to do in and through you, and how you as a child of God might fit into the ministry of CBF. As part of Session Two, you’ll have the opportunity to process what you’ve discovered with one of our trained DISCOVERY Guides to gain greater insight in how God is leading you at this time.
Upcoming Classes
Our DISCOVERY Classes will be held on the dates below, immediately following the 10:45 am worship service. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours and includes lunch and childcare.
Note: You must attend Session One prior to attending Session Two, however, you can register for both at the same time.
